About the Role
As the Veterinary Medical Director, you will serve as both a clinical leader and practicing veterinarian. You will partner with a skilled support team to provide outstanding patient care while guiding medical standards, mentoring associate veterinarians, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
This role offers the opportunity to influence medical protocols, support team growth, and help drive the long-term success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for small animal patients
- Lead and mentor associate veterinarians and support staff
- Establish and maintain medical protocols and standards of care
- Promote a collaborative, positive, and patient-focused culture
- Support professional development and continuing education initiatives
- Build strong relationships with clients and the local community
- Ensure compliance with medical, regulatory, and ethical standards
- Stay current on advances in veterinary medicine and industry best practices

- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in small animal medicine
- Strong surgical and dentistry skills

Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Eligible for or currently holds Ohio veterinary license
- Strong interest in small animal medicine and surgery
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and client service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment

8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
