Full Time preferred, Part Time possible for Smithtown Animal Hospital on the beautiful north shore of Suffolk county, Long Island. For more than 33 years, Smithtown Animal Hospital has been a trusted part of the community, creating the kind of lasting relationships that make veterinary medicine rewarding. Most of our clientele is made up of clientele is made up of generation of families.
Our practice is equipped with the tools you need to practice modern canine and feline medicine. We are supported by an experienced team and clients who trust our recommendations. This position is ideal for an experienced veterinarian who is ready to step away from corporate medicine and join an independent practice where quality care, professionalism autonomy, and community connections matter. For the right candidate, there is a pathway to practice ownership within 5 years which would include a 1 acre piece of real estate on Jericho turnpike in Smithtown.
Whether you are looking for a long term practice or an opportunity to own in the future, this position offers room to grow. Competitive salary of $150k-$180k based on experienced and schedule. Three weeks paid vacation. $2500 paid CE allowance, SEP IRA and medical insurance offered. We are also Thyrocat I131 center.
