We are seeking a Medical Director / Managing Veterinarian with a vision to help grow our hospital, Summer Street Cat Clinic, while advancing our quality of care for our feline patients.
Summer Street Cat Clinic was established over 40 years ago and has been highly regarded in the communities with a very loyal and growing clientele offering a medically focused attention on their feline family members. There are two locations: Getzville and Buffalo which are just 20 minutes apart. Our Getzville location borders the State University at Buffalo. Our downtown Buffalo location is a beautifully renovated carriage house that offers a historical vibe having been built in the late 1800’s and in the heart of the historical district.
The Medical Director / Managing Veterinarian is primarily responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The Medical Director / Managing Veterinarian is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork with a growth mindset in which quality medicine and exceptional client service are consistently delivered to our clients and their pets.
Additionally, the Medical Director/ Managing Veterinarian is expected to partner with the Hospital Manager to drive financial performance and general operations of the hospital and to more broadly cultivate a supportive and collaborative team environment. This hospital-level team is supported by their Keystone Empire Divisional Leadership who provides practice management training, reporting, and ongoing resources to develop a best-in-class hospital.
