Responsibilities and Requirements
As a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Willow Pet Hospital, your primary focus will be to provide top-quality medical care to our patients. Our staff philosophy enables technicians to perform many of the tasks that do not require a licensing which encourages a healthcare team approach. Key responsibilities and requirements Include:
Conducting examinations, diagnostics, and treatments for dogs and cats
Building relationships with clients, ensuring they are well-informed and comfortable with their pets' care
Performing basic surgical and dental procedures, or showing a willingness to learn; we provide off-site training if needed to help you gain proficiency
Showing interest in expanding skills in ultrasound and endoscopy (a plus but not required)
Collaborating with a supportive, skilled team, including veterinary technicians and assistants
Medical Degree: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) from an accredited program
Licensure: Minnesota Veterinary License (or ability to obtain one post-hire)
