Seeking a part-time OR full-time veterinarian licensed in the state of Maryland for a primarily small animal practice. We have been a two Doctor Practice this past year but the current Associate is moving due to family health issues so she can be closer to them. We were voted Best Veterinary Service on the Eastern Shore in Metropolitan Magazine and Best Veterinary Practice in Wicomico County for the last three years. Dr. Giza is the owner and a 2007 grad from UC Davis. We are a very busy practice and have been closed to new clients.  We have a waiting list of clients wanting to get in with us. So the possibilities are endless!!!

Are you looking for a progressive atmosphere with a diverse mix of medicine, wellness, surgery, ultrasound, laser, acupuncture, chiropractic, In house lab (Idexx), some exotics and more? Are you looking for a good work/life balance? We are a Monday through Friday practice that refers to the ER locally after hours and on weekends and holidays. Mentorship is offered if necessary. If looking for a full-time position then plan on a four day work week.

Salisbury, MD is located on the beautiful setting on the Delmarva Peninsula less than an hour from the beach. We are a fun college town with lots to offer.

About Pets On The Shore Veterinary Hospital

Dr. Giza is a solo practitioner currently. She cares for dogs, cats, some exotics and pot belly pigs as well as provides acupuncture services and chiropractic for small animal and equine patients. Her interests include acupuncture, medicine and surgery (including some orthopedic surgeries). Dr. Giza graduated from University of California, Davis College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She lives in Salisbury, MD with her husband and entourage ...of horses, dogs and cats. Dr. Giza has worked mixed animal and emergency. She is willing to mentor and looks forward to collaborating with another veterinarian. Office Hours: Monday through Friday 8 am - 5:30 pm. We are closed for lunch from 12- 1:30 Monday through Friday but we are available for emergencies during lunch. We refer to Pet's ER after hours.We have three exam rooms, in house laboratory, ultrasound, surgery, dentistry and digital x-ray. We also offer Companion Laser Therapy and acupuncture.The office is situated on a large piece of property on the edge of city and country. We are only 45 minutes from the beach.
