VCA Sandy Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our tenured DVM team in Sandy, Oregon.
At VCA Sandy, our main goals are to be role models for practicing best medicine, providing exceptional customer service, while offering an open learning and teaching environment between our staff members. We believe that client education is invaluable, which means we focus highly on preventative care. We are even working on Fear Free certification of our entire hospital! Our building is a newer, large facility, with a beautiful rustic exterior and newer equipment, and we have some of the best, most dedicated clients around. Many have been coming here for over 20 years!
We are hiring for full time (preferred) or part time hours, traditionally 4) 10 hour work days, and the possibility of some weekend hours. No late evenings or on-call hours.
Sandy, OR is a beautiful, rural area at the base of Mt. Hood, however we are just 20 minutes east of the Portland metro area (the big city!), only a 2 hour drive to the ocean, and 30 minutes to the mountain, where there's a myriad of ski resorts, forests, and off-roading activities. Our location offers something for everyone. If you enjoy festivals, our Sandy Mountain Days will have you up and dancing, and Oktoberfest provides a huge attraction for beer lovers statewide!
