St. Matthew’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in the Cayman Islands is looking for a visiting professor who is passionate about teaching Veterinary Histology. The ideal candidate possesses a DVM/VMD/BVSc, and/or PhD Histology.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach the Veterinary Histology course by teaching lectures and laboratories. The successful candidate would be required to teach the course once per semester (three times per year) and would require travel to Grand Cayman for 1-2 weeks at a time.
The main emphasis at St. Matthew’s is education, and our faculty spend most of their time teaching, mentoring, and advising students. We offer small class size where you will know your students by name, a safe and beautiful environment, and an excellent group of colleagues for you to work with. Students spend the first seven semesters on Grand Cayman and complete their final year of clinical rotations at one of our affiliate schools in the United States or Canada.The School of Veterinary Medicine at St. Matthew’s University uses the tri-semester system.
