VCA Animal Hospital of Plainfield located in Plainfield, Indiana is looking for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.

VCA Animal Hospital of Plainfield is a general practice hospital acquired by VCA in 2016, but has been providing services to the community since 1955. We are proud to share our hospital is AAHA accredited, allowing us to provide a higher standard of care. We partner with Hendricks County Animal Control Shelter, Indy Humane, and various working dog services. We are able to provide such wonderful services because of our highly skilled dedicated team. Our hospital is able to perform treatments or procedures with unique equipment like dental x-ray, abdominal ultrasound, therapy laser, and surgical laser. We also teach and perform root canals and vital pulpotomy dental procedures. This year we are bringing acupuncture service to our hospital.

Our hospital is looking for a full time veterinarian able to work 4 days a week with a rotating Saturday schedule. In the schedule we offer a one hour lunch break. Our practice provides service Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Plainfield, Indiana is a historical town established in 1839. Our town is a growing community with a small town feel. Plainfield has some of the best public schools in the state and parks! Our town provides a community recreation center for various activities and swimming. We also have a performing arts center located at Hummel Park. This year a new restaurant and art center will be opening in downtown Plainfield. We are located about 20 minutes from Indianapolis with easy access to interstate and airport.
