Cats Exclusive, Inc is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization with a mission to help the community by providing high-quality reduced cost veterinary services to the community while reducing feline overpopulation and rehabilitating homeless cats for adoption.
We are seeking a Full Time Lead Veterinarian who will coordinate and direct the medical operation that works hand in hand with our 40-year-old non-profit Cat Adoption Center in Margate, Florida. Our medical practice is confined primarily to cats and some small dogs.
Ideal candidate will be experienced in high volume, high quality spay and neuter surgery with other surgical and diagnostic skills as experienced in shelter and community medicine. We run our practice on AVImark software: knowledge of that system will be a plus.
You will also will be a confident, caring veterinarian with a great bedside manner as your schedule will be divided between patient appointments and surgeries while leading our medical team and setting the protocol for the care of the adoption pets in our facility as well. You will have the opportunity to provide input and shape the inner workings of both the Clinic and the Adoption Center.
Clients and community cats will be seen 5 days a week, doing a high-volume of surgeries with additional one day vaccine clinic events throughout the year. The Lead Veterinarian works with our secondary vet in scheduling many of the spays and neuters but handles most of the office visits and performs most major surgeries themselves. You will direct the entire medical team in the surgical wing of the clinic. Day-to-day operations of the facility fall to other staff members and the executive director.
We are presently a two-doctor Animal Clinic with an adjacent feline adoption center providing general medicine as well as soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Spays and neuters are, of course, a huge part of our practice. We have a full laboratory and can perform in-house bloodwork, urinalysis, integrated digital radiography on site.

We offer competitive pay, benefits, and professional development. Salary range $95,000 – $110,000 commensurate with background and experience. Benefits:
