As a Part-Time Veterinarian, You Can Expect To…

• Perform thorough routine veterinary exams
• Confidently recommend necessary medications and treatment plans for pets
• Perform surgical procedures (preferably with experience)
• Possess extensive knowledge related to preventative care and treatment for sick and/or injured animals
• Apply good judgement in patient assessment, diagnostics and therapeutics, and be able to relay this information to staff members and clients efficiently

• A superior bedside manner that displays kindness and compassion
• Strong people and communication skills, both with coworkers and clients
• A commitment to exceeding customer service expectations
• Excellent organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent skills surrounding internal medicine
• Dental radiograph interpretation and extraction skills

Important Job Requirements Include:

• Veterinary license in good standing with the state of South Carolina
• 4+ years of experience working in a veterinary practice 

•  Advantage software experience preferred

• Weekends, holidays and evenings will be required
