Amherst Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking a Full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our well established, continuously growing small animal practice! Our hospital’s goal is to assemble a veterinary health care team who are committed to providing exceptional client service and veterinary health care.

Our ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic new graduate or experienced clinician. We are seeking a professional individual who is passionate about providing exceptional quality animal care with excellent interpersonal skills. Our hospital has new technology, an in-house laboratory, and equipment. We offer comprehensive services including surgery (orthopedic/soft tissue), preventative & corrective dentistry, Internal Medicine, Chemotherapy along with Intensive Care. Although we’ve been in practice since 1976, we are always open to new ideas and techniques that can improve the quality of care we provide to our patients. Our team is always willing to learn from each other and grow.

Our practice is five miles north of Lynchburg, VA. Lynchburg has a tradition of outstanding public education and operates one of the top school systems in the state.
