Lead initial evaluations in which we perform orthopedic, neurologic, and soft tissue exams Be able to diagnose what is going on and educate client's on next steps Feel comfortable discussing medications, especially pain medications. Create and perform treatment plans- class iv laser, ultrasound, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, exercises, manual therapy, and ASSISI Perform fiberglass impressions and prescribe orthotics/prosthetics Can create a treatment plan on how we progress a patient through an orthotic. Be able to communicate to client's how the braces work, how we heal the specific injury, and how the device will change over time. Perform basic orthotic/prosthetic adjustments. Lead treatment appointments Have a strong knowledge in exercise progression. |
